Updated 27 October 2026

A graduation or reunion trip to Komodo on a private phinisi costs IDR 3,180,000 (≈ USD 195) each on Arham Jaya 2 when 14 people fill the boat for 3 days and 2 nights, or IDR 2,790,000 (≈ USD 171) on the 2D1N route. Park tickets are extra.

A reunion of 14 on a single boat

One boat solves what a reunion cannot: everyone in the same place at the same time. Fourteen alumni board together, sleep on one boat and eat at one dining table. Nobody drifts to a different hotel, and nobody misses the dinner.

Arham Jaya 2 takes the full 14 in 6 cabins, each with its own bathroom. Two Master Cabin Balconies and two Private Cabin Sea Views make four doubles, which suits the couples in the class. The two Share Cabins sleep 4 each on bunks for the friends who want to be together or want to save a cabin.

Nusantara Karya takes 14 in 5 cabins, also with a private bathroom each. Segara Liveaboard takes 14 in 6 rooms, 5 with their own bathroom and the Standard Cabin Room on a shared one.

A reunion is also a booking with many opinions. Name one organizer who talks to us, and let that person make the call on small things.

One honest fact helps the sum: a 14-guest group on Arham Jaya 2 pays less per head, at IDR 3,180,000 (≈ USD 195), than one Share Cabin seat at IDR 3,350,000 (≈ USD 206). Only at 14 does the whole boat cost less than that seat.

Budget for students: the per-head number

Students count every rupiah. The fair way to show them the number is the whole boat divided by the heads, park ticket on its own line. The charter page has the full table by group size.

For 3 days and 2 nights, Arham Jaya 2 costs IDR 4,150,000 (≈ USD 255) each at 10 guests. At 12 it is IDR 3,710,000 (≈ USD 228) and at 14 it is IDR 3,180,000 (≈ USD 195). Nusantara Karya costs IDR 4,400,000 (≈ USD 270), IDR 4,000,000 (≈ USD 245) and IDR 3,430,000 (≈ USD 210) for the same head counts.

The park ticket is extra: IDR 50,000 for a domestic guest on a weekday and IDR 75,000 on a weekend. International classmates pay IDR 250,000. We run no student discount, so the figures above are the figures.

Saving tip: look at the bunk cabins first. They are the cheapest beds in the fleet for a seat, and in a private charter they are simply the beds the least fussy friends take.

Collecting money from alumni

Do not send us fourteen transfers. Pick one friend as the booking name, and let that friend collect.

The deposit is 50% of the boat fare and holds the date. The balance falls due 30 days before departure. Ask the group to pay the organizer well before that date, so a late friend does not stall the whole booking.

Open a shared note with names, the amounts and the dates paid. The group needs a plain record, and so does the organizer, who is out of pocket until it fills.

Plan for a dropout. If someone leaves after the deposit, the others share the loss or find a replacement. A swap of one guest for another works if you tell us the new name before departure, and refunds follow the policy: 50% back for a cancellation 60 days out, 25% for one 30 days out.

Payment is by bank transfer in rupiah, or by one of the other methods we list on the booking page.

A 2D1N option for a tight budget

If three days is too long or too dear, the 2D1N route is the cheaper door. At 14 guests Arham Jaya 2 costs IDR 2,790,000 (≈ USD 171) each and Nusantara Karya costs IDR 2,860,000 (≈ USD 175). At 12 guests the figures are IDR 3,250,000 (≈ USD 199) and IDR 3,330,000 (≈ USD 204).

What you give up is plain. Day one of 2D1N is Kelor, Manjarite and Kalong, and day two is Padar, Pink Beach and Komodo. It skips Manta Point, Taka Makassar and the Sebayur swim, and the drop-off time is agreed on WhatsApp.

For a graduation weekend, two days is enough. The group climbs together, swims together and sees the bats together. The leftover budget goes to the party in Labuan Bajo the night before.

Park tickets, the guide and documentation come on top of the 2D1N figures, as on every route.

Karaoke and the sundeck

A reunion needs somewhere to sit and talk. All three boats have a karaoke set. Arham Jaya 2 adds a covered lounge with a TV and a sundeck with loungers and bean bags.

Nusantara Karya has a karaoke area with a TV, speakers and a lounge sofa, and a sundeck with lazy chairs and a daybed. Segara Liveaboard has a karaoke set, a Bluetooth speaker and an upper deck with 8 bean bags under a shade net.

The group photo is the one thing every reunion wants. A phone on the sundeck at the end of day two does the job. If you want the crew to take photos and video of the group, documentation is available on request and quoted separately.

Bring the old yearbook if you have one. The sundeck is the place to pass it round, and each boat page lists what else is on board.

FAQ

Can we split between two boats?

Yes, and a class above 14 has to. Each boat stops at 14 guests, so 20 alumni take two boats, each priced on its own band. Tell us the head count and we price both.

What is the cheapest route?

Two days, one night. At 14 guests Arham Jaya 2 on 2D1N costs IDR 2,790,000 (≈ USD 171) per person, and Nusantara Karya costs IDR 2,860,000 (≈ USD 175). Park tickets are extra. The route skips Manta Point and Taka Makassar.

Do we need a deposit per person?

No. One booking name pays one deposit of 50% to hold the date. The balance is due 30 days before departure. You collect each person's share inside the group, and we deal with the one name.

Can we pay in two installments?

The booking has two payments by design: the 50% deposit, then the balance 30 days before departure. Collect installments inside the group and send us those two payments on the dates in the quote.

How early to book?

As soon as the head count and the date are agreed. The 50% deposit holds the date, and the balance falls due 30 days before departure.
