A Komodo trip with friends on a private phinisi for 12 people fits Arham Jaya 2 best: 6 cabins, each with its own bathroom. Twelve friends share IDR 44,500,000 (≈ USD 2,730) for 3 days and 2 nights, so each pays IDR 3,710,000 (≈ USD 228) before park tickets.
Twelve friends, six cabins
Arham Jaya 2 has 6 cabins and a ceiling of 14. Two Master Cabin Balconies sleep 2 each, or 3 with an extra bed, and two Private Cabin Sea Views sleep 2. Of the two Share Cabins, one has 2 double bunk beds and the other 4 single bunks, and each takes 4.
Twelve friends fill the four doubles and one bunk cabin, and the sixth cabin stays empty. Couples take the doubles. Whoever doesn't mind a ladder takes the bunks. Nobody shares a bathroom, because every cabin has its own.
On Nusantara Karya, 12 friends fill the master, the deluxe and the private cabin, one bunk cabin of 4 and 2 places in the other, again with a bathroom in every cabin. Segara Liveaboard has 6 rooms in 5 types, and its Standard Cabin Room shares a bathroom.
Settle the cabins in the group chat before the deposit. An argument over the master balcony is far cheaper on a Tuesday than on the pier.
Karaoke, snorkeling and a sundeck
Karaoke is the first thing friends ask about, and all three boats have a set. On Arham Jaya 2 it sits in a covered lounge with a TV. Nusantara Karya gives it a corner of its own, with a Smart TV, speakers and a lounge sofa. Segara Liveaboard pairs its karaoke set with a Bluetooth speaker.
Snorkeling gear and life jackets are on all three boats. Twelve people don't need to pack twelve masks, though friends who like their own fit can bring one.
The sundeck becomes the group's living room. Arham Jaya 2 has loungers and bean bags. Nusantara Karya has lazy chairs and a daybed. Segara has 8 bean bags under a shade net on its upper deck. Each boat page lists its full equipment.
Quiet hours, and whether a guest's own speaker comes out, are agreed with the captain on the day. Drinks you order are personal spending.
The 3 day route for friends
Three days suit friends because each day has a shape. Day one is easy: Kelor, a 15 to 30 minute hill, then Manjarite for a swim and Kalong for the bats. Dinner is on board and the evening is yours.
Day two is the big day, with Padar at the start, Pink Beach, Komodo Island, Taka Makassar and Manta Point. Padar means an early alarm. Friends who would rather sleep in stay aboard while the keen ones climb, and nobody is left out of the rest.
Day three is a last swim at Sebayur, then the harbor. Plan the flights so that nobody has to leave early.
Order and anchorage are the captain's call on the day, and clouds and haze change the plan. If the group wants a longer stay at one beach, say so before paying. Rinca is not on our routes.

Times are a guide to the day, and the captain sets them. Pickup time is agreed on WhatsApp with the deposit.
The sum for each friend
Take twelve friends. Arham Jaya 2 costs IDR 44,500,000 (≈ USD 2,730) for the 3D2N trip, or IDR 3,710,000 (≈ USD 228) each. Nusantara Karya costs IDR 48,000,000 (≈ USD 2,945), which is IDR 4,000,000 (≈ USD 245) each.
Give the park ticket its own line: IDR 50,000 for each Indonesian guest on a weekday, IDR 75,000 at the weekend and IDR 250,000 for each foreign guest. A private charter leaves out the guide and documentation.
Saving tip: bring two more friends. At 14 guests Arham Jaya 2 comes to IDR 3,180,000 (≈ USD 195) each and Nusantara Karya to IDR 3,430,000 (≈ USD 210). The total stays put and the share falls.

Rules the group agrees before booking
Write three things down before anyone pays. The first is the head count, which has a ceiling of 14. The second is the date, with a fallback. The third is one contact name, the friend who books and talks to us.
Then agree the deposit. It is 50% to hold the date, and the balance falls due 30 days before departure. A friend who drops out after that is the group's problem, not the boat's, so decide now who covers a gap.
Agree on swimming too. Manta Point suits confident swimmers, and Pink Beach and Taka Makassar are gentler. Friends who cannot swim should hear that before the boat, not on it.
Last, agree on sleep. Padar means leaving the boat before sunrise, and a group that sings until late will not make it. Set the group's own quiet hours with the captain.

Is there a karaoke set?
Yes, on all three boats. Arham Jaya 2 has a TV and a karaoke set. Nusantara Karya has a Smart TV and a karaoke set. Segara Liveaboard has a karaoke set and a Bluetooth speaker. Agree quiet hours with the captain on the day.
Can we bring a speaker?
Segara Liveaboard has a Bluetooth speaker on board, and the other two boats have karaoke sets. A guest's own speaker and its volume are agreed with the captain on the day, the same as quiet hours.
Are drinks included?
Meals and snorkeling gear are in the fare. Segara includes welcome drinks, an afternoon snack and free-flow mineral water, coffee and tea on a seat, and alcohol is excluded there. Nusantara Karya includes mineral water, a snack, coffee and tea. Drinks you order are personal spending.
Is it noisy at night?
Quiet hours are agreed with the captain on the day. Karaoke runs at the group's choice, and the group and the captain settle the limits on the day. A group with an early Padar start agrees its own cut-off before the evening starts.
