Komodo National Park ticket prices for domestic groups
Updated 27 October 2026
Komodo National Park ticket price for domestic groups, as of 27 October 2026: IDR 50,000 per Indonesian guest per day on a weekday, IDR 75,000 on a weekend or public holiday, and IDR 250,000 per international guest. The ticket is never in the boat fare, so add it to every share.
The ticket per person, weekday and weekend
Every guest who enters the park pays a ticket, and it is charged per person per day inside the park. The tariff comes from Government Regulation PP 36/2024 and has applied to Komodo since 30 October 2024.
The weekend rate applies on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. Ask us how your date is counted.
- Indonesian guest, weekday: IDR 50,000 per person per day.
- Indonesian guest, weekend or public holiday: IDR 75,000 per person per day.
- International guest: IDR 250,000 per person per day, the same every day of the week.
Entry, the Komodo trek and snorkeling inside the park are all covered by the ticket. Snorkeling has had no separate park levy since the 2024 tariff.
The block below has the current figures for your group.
| International visitors | IDR 250,000 per person per day |
| Indonesian visitors | IDR 50,000 per person per day · IDR 75,000 weekends & holidays |
Paid separately in cash or e-ticket; ranger and pier levies are extra and can change. Regulation: PP 36/2024 · Verified 27 October 2026.
What your group pays in total
The total is simple: the ticket, times the number of guests, times the number of days inside the park. The calculator below does the totals so nobody does arithmetic in the group chat.
Ticket days depend on how many days the route spends inside the park. We write the day count we used in the quote, and the captain's route on the day can change it.
The split, ticket on its own line. Take the boat share first. On Arham Jaya 2 at 12 guests that is IDR 3,710,000 (≈ USD 228) each, and on Nusantara Karya IDR 4,000,000 (≈ USD 245) each. Then add the ticket per guest as a separate line. Never fold it into the share, because a weekday and a weekend date give different tickets.
In the price: the boat, the crew, meals and snorkeling gear. Not in the price: the park ticket, ranger and pier charges, flights, your hotel, personal expenses and tips.
Saving tip. If your group can choose between a weekday and a weekend boarding, check the ticket line. For 14 Indonesian guests the weekend rate adds up across every day inside the park.
| Guests | Days | International | Indonesian | Indonesian · weekends & holidays |

What you pay at the pier and to the ranger
Two more charges sit beside the ticket. Ranger fees are paid for the guided trek on Komodo and Rinca, and pier or mooring charges are paid at the landing. Both are paid separately on the day, in cash or by e-ticket, and both can change.
We give no amount for them here. A figure written once on a page goes stale, and a stale figure in a group chat starts an argument. Ask us on WhatsApp and we reply with the current line.
A drone in the park needs its own permit and is not part of any fare. Treat it as a request for us, not as a surprise on the pier.
Rangers from the park lead the trek. Your boat's crew takes you to the landing, and the ranger takes the group on the path.
How to buy and when
Tickets are electronic. Passengers on tourist boats in Labuan Bajo carry an electronic boarding pass, and the name on it has to match the passenger list, so spelling matters.
Send us each guest's full name exactly as it is written on the passport or ID before the balance date. The list is what the ticket and the boarding pass are built from. A mismatch can stop a guest at the pier.
Carry the passport or ID on the day of the trip as well. The park or the harbor can ask for it.
The steps run in this order: the passenger list, the tickets, and the payment of the ranger and pier charges on the day. The ticket cost is yours and sits outside the fare in every case.
Why the quote never includes it
The ticket is a state fee set by regulation, so it is not ours to set. We do not mark it up, and we do not fold it into a boat fare.
There are two reasons to keep it out. A fare with a ticket inside goes stale the day the tariff changes. And a group of Indonesians and foreigners pays different tickets for the same boat, so one blended number would be wrong for both.
So the quote shows the boat on one line and the ticket on another, with the weekday and weekend rates side by side. If a quote from anyone folds the ticket into the total, ask for the line. We keep it separate on purpose.

FAQ
How much is the park ticket for Indonesians?
IDR 50,000 per person per day on a weekday and IDR 75,000 on a weekend or public holiday. Multiply by the guests and by the days inside the park. The ticket is outside the boat fare on all three boats.
Is the weekend rate higher?
Yes, for Indonesian guests: IDR 75,000 against IDR 50,000 on a weekday. It applies on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. International guests pay IDR 250,000 every day, so the weekend rate does not change their ticket.
Are children free?
The tariff is per person, so we price every guest in the ticket line. On the boat, children aged 0 to 2 travel free and from age 3 the full fare applies.
Who pays the ticket?
The cost is the guests'. We need every guest's name as written in the passport or ID, and the ticket is never part of the boat fare.
Are ranger fees extra?
Yes. Ranger fees and pier charges are paid separately on the day and can change. We give no amount here, and we send the current line when you ask.
